What we deliver to the plant.

CAP / 01

Industrial Automation

PLC, SCADA and DCS systems engineered for continuous-process environments. Retrofits, upgrades and greenfield installations — with documentation built for the people who keep the plant running.

CAP / 02

Electrical Motors

Low and medium voltage motors sized to the duty — rolling mills, conveyors, crushers, fans and pumps. Sourcing, supply and replacement programs across major OEMs, with rapid turnaround on critical spares.

Drives & Power

Variable frequency drives, soft starters and DC drives selected for the actual application — not the catalogue page. Energy-efficient configurations that pay back fast and survive hot, dirty, demanding environments.

Spare Parts & Support

Inventory programs for legacy and current equipment. We hold and source the parts you need before the line goes down — plus on-site commissioning, troubleshooting and training from engineers who’ve done it before.

Sectors we know first-hand.

SECTOR / 01

Steel & Iron

Rolling mills, casters, EAF and ladle furnace systems. Drive upgrades and motor replacements engineered for cyclic, high-impact duty.

SECTOR / 02

Non-Ferrous Metals

Aluminium, copper and zinc processing. Smelter automation, electrolysis controls and continuous-cast support.

SECTOR / 03

Mining & Minerals

Crushers, grinding mills, conveyors and slurry pumps. Explosion-proof and high-torque motor solutions for remote sites.

SECTOR / 04

Heavy Industry

Cement, pulp & paper, ports and bulk material handling. Long-cycle reliability where downtime gets measured in tonnes lost.

From scope to signed-off.

  1. / 01
    Site walk & assessment
Engineers visit the plant. We document the actual installed base — not the as-designed drawings — and identify the constraints that catalogue specs never capture.
    Week 01–02
  2. / 02
    Engineered selection
Equipment specified for the application, the environment and the operator who has to maintain it. We use what works, from suppliers that stand behind their product.
    Week 02–04
  3. / 03
    Supply & staging
Procurement, FAT, logistics and on-site staging coordinated against the maintenance window. Critical spares held in inventory before the shutdown date.
    Week 04–10
  4. / 04
    On-site commissioning
Installation, loop checks, energisation, tuning and operator handover. Our engineers stay until the line runs the way it’s supposed to — documented and signed off.

  5. / 05
    Long-term support
Spares programs, periodic health checks and a phone number that gets answered. Two decades of running installations is the only proof that matters.
    Ongoing

Decades in the field, not the showroom.

FAS Technologies was built by engineers who came up through steel mills and mineral plants — not sales offices. That history is why we know which drive survives a casting bay, which motor outlasts the duty cycle, and which spare goes into inventory before the failure mode appears.

We don’t resell catalogues. We deliver engineered outcomes — specified, supplied, commissioned and supported by the same team, end to end.
